STILL YOUR MIND -
A MINDFULNESS WORKSHOP
26th April 2026, at 11 AM @ The Istana, Uluwatu
You're in Bali. It's beautiful.
And yet — your mind won't stop
Phone notifications pulling you out of the moment. Social media making you feel like everyone else has it figured out. Life feeling rushed, pressured, and somehow never enough. You're tired of being constantly online, chronically stimulated, and dependent on a screen that never lets you fully rest. This is what modern life feels like. And most of us have normalised it so completely we've forgotten there's another way.
Still Your Mind is a 60-minute drop-in workshop designed to give you something most of us rarely get — a genuine pause. Not a lecture about mindfulness. Not a meditation class where you have to sit perfectly still and think of nothing. A real, guided experience where you slow down, notice what's actually going on inside, and leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more present than when you walked in. No experience needed. No special background. Just show up as you are.
What to Expect :
You'll walk in, slow down, and be guided through a full experience — from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. This is not a passive session. You'll write, reflect, breathe, practice, and share. Every exercise builds on the last, so by the end you'll feel a noticeable shift — not just understand one intellectually. Expect to be surprised by how much can change in 60 minutes.
The Benefits :
— Immediate relief from mental overwhelm and overstimulation
— A direct, felt experience of what a quieter mind feels like
— Tools to interrupt overthinking and come back to the present moment
— A new relationship with stress, screens, and the noise of daily life
— 3–5 practical mindfulness tools to use anywhere — at home, at work, on the go
— A printed take-home guide so the experience doesn't stop when the workshop does
The Rundown :
Arrive & Ground (5 min)
We open with a short guided meditation — no preamble, no awkward introductions. Just an immediate invitation to land in the present moment.
_______
Name What's Heavy (10 min)
Before any teaching, you write down 5 things that are making you feel overwhelmed, overstimulated, or stuck in your head right now. Work. Screens. Comparison. Stress. Relationships. Whatever it is — you name it. Because you can't change what you can't see.
___________________
From Awareness to Mindfulness (8 min)
A short, honest conversation about why the mind gets so loud — and what awareness actually means as the first step toward something quieter.
From there, you'll be introduced to mindfulness — not as a buzzword, but as a simple, science-backed practice of training your attention.
Relatable, grounded, and rooted in what you just wrote.
__________________
Practice 1 — Breath Awareness (8–10 min)
A guided breathing exercise that anchors you in the present moment.
Simple enough for a complete beginner. Powerful enough to feel immediately.
________________
Practice 2 — Observation Practice (8–10 min)
A guided mindfulness exercise around noticing thoughts without being pulled into them.
You'll experience firsthand what it means to observe your mind rather than be controlled by it.
_____________________
Flip the List (10 min)
You go back to your original list and flip it — writing what you want to feel and experience instead,
based on what you just felt in the practices.
You share in pairs first, then with the group. This is the moment most guests say they'll remember.
_____________________
Tools to Take Home (5 min)
3–5 simple mindfulness practices you can use anywhere — explained clearly and handed to you in a printed take-home guide to keep.
____________________
Close — One Word (3–5 min)
Each guest shares one word for how they feel right now. A final breath together. And you leave different from how you arrived.
Special Note :
Please bring a notebook and pen.
